CPAP machines come in Three (3) styles.

CPAP Machines
Regular cpap machines provide a constant flow of air.  These are the cheapest of the machines available priced from about $250-450. 

Auto-PAP Machines -
Auto titrating cpap machines automatically adjust the pressure to the changing needs of the patient.  These machines are priced between $550-700.  Your doctor may require you to be on this type of machine if your pressure needs change from night to night, or from hour to hour. 

BiPAP Machines
BiPAP or Bi-level machines have two different pressure settings.  One pressure setting for inhale, and one pressure setting for exhale.  This type of machine typically costs between $900-3000.  There is also an automatic bipap machine available that combines the automatic pressure setting feature into the dual pressure system of a BIPAP.  There are also machines available that prompt a breath and machines that have a back up rate.  The BIPAP is generally prescribed for patients with severe sleep apnea requiring higher than normal pressures (typically above 12 cm/H2O)

Oxygen Concentrators
Oxygen concentrators are not for sleep apnea, but they can be fitted to your cpap machine with a simple adapter available on our accessories page.
